How Do Teams Qualify for the World Cup?
There are two main ways.
1. Direct Qualification
The four teams that win their groups in League A get automatic tickets to Brazil. Simple as that! Win with your group, and pack your bags for South America.
2. Through the Play-offs
The remaining 32 teams from all three leagues will compete in play-off matches to earn seven more direct spots and one place in the inter-confederation play-offs.
The play-offs work in two rounds.
- Winners from each round keep moving forward.
- The best teams from these play-offs join the party in Brazil.

Once the draw happens on November 4, 2025, we will know exactly which teams play against each other.
Home games mean playing in front of your own fans, which gives teams a big advantage. Away games test how well you can perform under pressure in someone else’s stadium.
